As one of the firm believers of the importance of quality education and life-long learning, BlastAsia partnered with Isabela State University – Cabagan Campus (ISU) to work together and support the development of the university’s Information Technology programs.
Present in the signing of the partnership agreement last February
28, 2017 were BlastAsia, Inc. President and CEO Arup Maity, Chief Architect and Head of Technology Management Roy Saberon, and Mobile Software Engineer Edison Tarel; with ISU – Cabagan Campus Executive Director Dr. Ambrose Aggabao, CDCAS Dean Jane Cabauatan, Ph.D. and DICT Chair Allen Paz. The tie up seeks to develop and promote Research and Development, Faculty and Student Training Programs, Technology Transfer and Software Development Programs geared to enhance and provide a well-rounded educational experience to the ISU IT students in preparation for employment.
The partnership agreement signing was part of ISU – Cabagan Campus’ DICT Fair packed with presentations and knowledge-sharing sessions on interesting IT topics such as app development and cyber threats. BlastAsia’s Chief Architect and Head of Technology Management Roy Saberon gave an insightful talk on Cloud Application while Mobile Software Engineer Edison Tarel shared his knowledge on Mobile Application Development.
It is certainly important to uplift and encourage students to keep up with
what there is to learn in this era of rapid technological advancements, in this case the IT students who will soon be IT professionals and leaders. The academic partnership with ISU – Cabagan Campus is in line with BlastAsia’s commitment to innovation and its vision to empower students to move forward to the professional field and accelerate their success through the power of technology.
